Dallas County Board of Supervisors Meeting Preview
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session Tuesday.
They will meet early at 8am to participate in the assessor’s conference, followed by the regular meeting at 9am.
Agenda items include an update from Genesis Development, review of the Veterans Affairs Commission policy and guidelines and consideration of a vehicle purchase for the environmental health department.
The Board will then award a bid for the Filmore Court bridge project, approve right of way purchase agreements for the A Avenue bridge project and R16 reconstruction project and consider abating mobile home taxes.
A public hearing will then continue at 9:30am in regards to rezoning for the Heritage Woods development, followed by a request for proposals for custodial services and department relocation at the human services campus and a possible closed session to discuss the purchase of particular real estate.
The meeting takes place in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
F31 in Dallas County to Close for Reconstruction and Realignment Project
A heads up to motorists in Dallas County, a portion of County Road F31 will be closed starting tomorrow.
Crews will be working on the reconstruction and realignment of F31, or 195th Street in Sugar Grove Township starting Tuesday. The County expects the closure to last around three months and drivers are asked to find an alternate route.
