Perry swimmer traveled to Des Moines Lincoln Thursday night to compete against Lincoln and Algona. The scores tonight for this triple dual meet were:

                Lincoln 77- Perry 22         Lincoln 71- Algona 30      Algona 56- Perry 37

All three relay teams dropped time compared to the first meet of the season. As these relays continue to work together I expect their times to continue to improve.

200 Medley Relay Haileigh Kenyon, Breanna Penenger, Haley Vaughn, Sadee Whitfield 3rd against Lincoln, 2nd against Algona

200 Freestyle Haileigh Kenyon 3rd against both Lincoln and Algona.  Breanna Penenger 2nd against both Lincoln and Algona with a personal best time .

200 IM Haley Vaughn finished 1st overall against both Lincoln and Algona.

50 Freestyle Haileigh Kenyon was 2nd against Lincoln, 1st against Algona.

JV 100 Freestyle Breanna Ackerman had a personal best time.

100 Freestyle Vivian Gonzalez was 3rd against Lincoln, 2nd against Algona.

500 Freestyle Breanna Penenger was 3rd against Lincoln and 2nd against Algona.

200 Freestyle Relay Haley Vaughn, Sadee Whitfield, Anna Ridnour, Haileigh Kenyon 2nd against Lincoln, 1st against Algona.

100 Backstroke Vivian Gonzalez 3rd against Lincoln, 2nd against Algona

100 Breaststroke Anna Ridnour had a personal best time. Haley Vaughn tied her personal best time in the 100 breaststroke finishing 2nd against Lincoln and 1st against Algona.

400 Freestyle Relay Vivian Gonzalez, Breanna Ackerman, Sadee Whitfield, Breanna Penenger 3rd against Lincoln, 2nd against Algona.

Our next meet will be Tuesday, Sept 8 when we travel to Boone to swim against Boone and Algona.
