Now that summer is winding down, Bob Wilson with the Perry Chamber looks back on a season full of events and fun.
“It was a great summer. A little more low key than some. A little bit colder, a little bit rainy but again we had a lot of fun. Friday Fests were huge, the sponsorships from the businesses, the support from the residents makes it all worthwhile and again, those parks looked great. The new event, the Perry Cruuze, Safety Day, a new one of those, along with a great a great amount of ribbon cuttings to either welcome in new chamber members or celebrate a chamber member and something new they’ve added or completed. That’s a pretty good summer.”
Wilson will share more recaps of last weekend’s events with us and previews of upcoming events on today’s Let’s Talk Dallas County during the 9am, noon and 5pm hours on AM 1310 KDLS and the new 99.7 FM.
