Anyone wishing to be included in this year’s Big Red Barn Home and Craft Show in Jefferson can still sign up for a booth.

Co-organizer Joyce Rasmussen says they have over 50 vendors registered so far and are accepting booth applications until Tuesday, September 8th.  The fee for a booth is $50, plus $5 for electrical hookup.  However, spaces for electrical needs are on a first come, first serve basis.  She adds that majority of the vendors are crafts and home-base companies such as Scentsy, Pampered Chef and It Works.  There are people coming from Marshalltown, Des Moines, Waukee, Perry, Ames and other regional locations.

Plus, there will be food vendors and the Greene County Fair Association will be grilling hamburgers and serving chips and a drink for a pre-game meal before the Iowa and Iowa State football game.

The two-day event will be from 9am to 4pm Saturday, September 12th and 11am to 4pm on Sunday, September 13th at the fairgrounds in Jefferson, with free admission both days.
