Guthrie County students are back to school and Sheriff Marty Arganbright is doing all he can to ensure kids are safe going to and from class. At times, the Sheriff’s office only has one patrolling deputy in the entire county, so Arganbright asks the public to keep a watchful eye on area youth. “I use the public for extra eyes to watch out for these kids that are out and watch out for kids that are walking home. The public can be an extra set of eyes and make sure the kids get to school safe and back home safe.”
Additionally, Arganbright reminds motorists to obey school zone speed limits and to not pass stopped school buses.
