There are just six boys out for cross-country at Greene County High School and Ethan Woodruff is the only senior. He comments on his goals for this season. “I just want to get better and hope everybody improves out there on the course.” Woodruff was asked his thoughts about the increase in distance for girls to five kilometers (3.1 miles) the same as the boys. “It’s hopefully going to push all the boys harder just knowing the girls are doing the same things we’ll be doing.”
The Rams open the 2015 cross-country season in Ames on the Iowa State University Course at the Gilbert Invitational on Thursday, Aug. 27.
