Due to heavy roster turnover, ADM volleyball head coach Mary Beth Scott has a lot of question marks left to answer before the start of the season August 25 at the Newton Invitational.

As previously reported, the Tigers lost five seniors, all key contributors, from last year’s squad.

With that in mind, Scott was asked what players are in fact set in their positions or have shown themselves worthy of a starting spot at this point in preseason.

“I would say Brennan Hook is pretty, I would say Jordan Hook is pretty set,” Scott said. “We’re struggling with trying to figure out what we’re doing for middles yet. Sami Schepers, she’s a sophomore as well, she’s really done a nice job for us on the outside and been pretty consistent. That’s about all I can say right now because we’re still kind of trying to figure out some of those other puzzle pieces.

“Sydney Bertman is certainly in there, [along with] Sami, Brennan and Jordan.”
