Summer is winding down and tomorrow is the final Friday Fest of the summer in Perry.
A local band that has attracted crowds for decades will perform in Pattee Park.
Perry Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson says it should be a great time for all.
“School is coming but that doesn’t mean the fun is over. We’re going to have one last Friday Fest with a great Perry band, Rukkus. We all know them, we all love them and they’re always throwing a good party. (There will be) inflatables for the kids, food vendors, bring your own sleeping bag or whatever you want to bring, a chair and everything in between. It’s just a great, low-key event that should be very family friendly.”
As always, Friday Fests are free and open to the public. Music is expected to start around 6:30 at the Pattee Park band shell.
