ADM football 2012 alumnus Gavin Glenn is entering his second season with the Coe College Kohawks in Cedar Rapids with high hopes of competing for a starting job.

Whether he wins the job or not, Glenn is committed to becoming a better passer. The three-time all-state selection as a Tiger showed glimpses of his quarterbacking ability last season, his first with the Kohawks. Glenn came in relief when the offense struggled last season, appearing in eight games overall, and he completed 25-of-37 passes for 296 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions.

So what specific areas of his game as a passer does he aim to improve this season?

“I’d say when my first read isn’t there,” Glenn said. “I did a good job of that in high school. I could still do it in the college level, whether its getting out of the pocket and still looking down field or tucking it to run.”

Coe opens the 2015 season Sept. 5 at home against Wheaton College.
