The biggest fundraiser of the year for the West Central Valley Activities department has been extended. Activities Director Tod Broman says area residents have been given an extra week to purchase a $20 discount card, which gives great values to numerous area businesses. “We extended it for another week, because there were some kids who didn’t get a chance to get out and sell. We are still waiting for kids to bring their cards and money back in. There’s a chance people can still buy a discount card. If they are interested and haven’t been contacted by a student-athlete, they can just call the high school and we’ll make arrangements for them to get it.”
