A parade, kids activities, dancing, crafts, games and more will all be showcased in downtown Perry next weekend as Hispanics United for Perry host their annual festival.
As we’ve mentioned, this year’s event is called the Viva Perry Latino Festival which consists of some annual traditions and the return of popular activities.
Organizer Rosa Gonzales says it’s a chance to just celebrate with your neighbors.
“Music and fun, and of course it’s just a time to get together and discover what everybody can bring to our community.”
The event kicks off with a parade at 10am on Saturday, August 29th. Gonzales and Jon Wolseth with Hispanics United for Perry will join us on today’s Let’s Talk Dallas County to share more about the event.
