The Stuart Police Department executed two search warrants at South Summit Apartments, located in the 600 block of Southwest 7th Street, on Saturday. During the search, Chief David Reha says officers found a, “significant amount of methamphetamine.”
As a result of the investigation, 29 year old Daniel Reeves of Stuart was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested is 36 year old Cecilio Ramirez of Stuart. He’s facing charges of distribution of drugs to a minor, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of methamphetamine, child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to Adair County Sheriff Jeff Vandewater, Reeves remains in the Adair County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond and Ramirez is held on a $10,000 cash bond. The Stuart Police Department says the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
