Roger Warford of Hastings, NE., was traveling on Interstate 80 near the 113 mile marker when he was side swiped by a semi hauling a car trailer. Warford was towing a camper that had damage from the semi. There was no damage to Warford’s truck. Damage to the camper estimated at $4000.00. The semi continued on and did not stop.

David Boylen of Des Moines was traveling north in the 34000 block of Old Highway 6 when he entered a set of curves and went onto the shoulder and entered the ditch where his vehicle rolled once before coming to a stop. Boylen was taken to Methodist Main. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $15000.00.
Joseph R Taylor, age 38 of 8020 N 1000 E, Walkerton, Indiana was arrested at the 104 mile marker of Interstate 80 for possession/delivery of marijuana and drug stamp tax payment required.

Edwin Ochoa Melena, age 22 of 1716 West 3rd St., Perry was arrested at 22980 141st Dr., Bouton for possession of methamphetamine and possess of drug paraphernalia. Melena also had an active warrant for domestic abuse assault and was arrested for that.
Alan Lee Goetz, age 25 of 2514 Samson St., Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of domestic abuse assault.
Kevin Deaton of Dallas Center was traveling in the 28000 block of 240th St., when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $1500.00.

Audra Sorber of Perry was traveling west on Highway 44 when a vehicle driven by Benjamin Kelly of Waukee traveled into the intersection and struck Sorber’s vehicle. No injuries reported. Kelly was cited for failure to yield upon entering a controlled intersection. Damage to Kelly’s vehicle estimated at $2000.00 and $5000.00 to Sorber’s.
Clayton James Wolf, age 18 of 34389 Southview Dr., Cumming was arrested at the intersection of F90 and Grand Ave., for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol by a minor and failure to yield to emergency vehicle.
Carol Lack of Des Moines was traveling south in the 200 block of 1st S., Dawson when a child darted out from behind a vehicle into Lack’s pathway. The child suffered minor scrapes to the right side of his body. The child was transported to the Dallas County Hospital by the Dallas County EMS.
