Raccoon Valley Radio’s Severe Weather Action Team took the air late Sunday when storms rolled into the Raccoon River Valley.

Two Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were issued for Guthrie County and one effected southern Dallas County overnight.

Our Severe Weather Action Team broke into regular scheduled programming between 11:51pm and 1:02am to provide complete weather coverage. While on-air, the team was in touch with local emergency management officials to bring our listeners all the necessary weather and safety related information.

Limited visibility, water over the roadways and strong winds were the primary threats with the storm.  So far, no report of damage.
