A strong senior class could make the Guthrie Center volleyball team conference contenders this year. The Tigers finished last season with a solid record of 17-9 and are returning many of their best players including Rachel Long, Neta Boyer, Leigan Laughery, Maddy Smith and MaKayla Hoing. The Tigerettes are an offense-minded team, having the second most aces in the conference last year with 179 and averaging 2.67 aces per set, also good enough for second best in the conference.
