Perry School Board Meeting Preview

The Perry Community School District Board of Education will meet in regular session Monday.

Items on the agenda include updates on the summer school, food and PACES programs, approval of handbook revisions, approval of a food service agreement with the Perry Child Development Center and approval of revisions to board policies.

The Directors will then consider approving a School Budget Review Committee allowable growth request for any special education deficits, approve Hy-Vee as the district’s fruit and vegetable vendor, approve personnel change and consider a late open enrollment request.

The meeting takes place at 6pm in the Brady Library at Perry High School.

ADM School Board Meeting Preview

The Adel DeSoto Minburn School Board will meet Monday.

Items on the agenda include a public hearing in regards to the Minburn roof replacement project, a resolution to close open enrollment in special education for the 2016-2017 school year and discussion on the District’s goals for this school year.

Legislative resolutions for the Iowa Association of School Boards will then be approved, along with a contract with Mediacom and English Language Arts curriculum standards.

The activity director will then share his quarterly report, followed by updates on the new website project, athletic master planning and construction projects.

The meeting takes place at 6pm in the District’s board room in Adel.
