The Greene County High School volleyball schedule is out. Unlike last season when the Rams went 35 calendar days between their second to last and last home matches, the 2015 volleyball Rams won’t open the home portion of the schedule until the last week of September. Coach Donna Carhill’s team is scheduled to open the home schedule on Thursday, September 24 vs. PCM (Monroe) and Saydel (Des Moines) in the middle school gym in Jefferson, which is the eighth competition of the season.

Other home dates are Tuesday, Oct. 6  vs. Gilbert and Boone, Thursday, Oct. 8 vs. North Polk (Alleman), and Tuesday, Oct. 13 with South Hamilton (Jewell).

This edition of Ram volleyball will begin practice on Monday, Aug. 10 without much in the way of returning varsity experience. Junior Nadia Fisher is the only returnee from the 2014 squad that had 11 seniors.
