The Iowa High School Athletic Association says that high school football teams can begin practice this year on August 10th. According to West Central Valley’s Activities Director Tod Broman, head coach Eric Addy and the Wildcats will waste little time this season in beginning their first practice. “Starting the season as early as possible, so he’s gonna have practice at 12:01 a.m.”

This year is Eric Addy’s first year of being the Wildcats’ head coach and it’s his first head coaching job. Previously, he was an assistant coach at Des Moines North High School.
