When was the last time you stopped out to the Forest Park Museum in Perry?
The free attraction is constantly changing with new items to look at.
Museum Curator Pete Malmberg with the Dallas County Conservation department says he has made additions in the last week or so.
“We finally got our picture of Jodi Huisentruit, the missing Mason City journalist, back up. We had been missing that for a while and I’ve got some additional facts about those cases, I’ve got quite a few cases up there actually. And then I’ve added over into the Hasty building, that temporary display, of notable Americans that Warren Allen Smith knew. He’s the businessman who lived in New York City, and still lives there. He knew everybody and so I’ve got all his connections. There’s a huge number of quite famous people. I’ve got write ups about all of them now out.”
The Forest Park Museum is open from 8am until 4:30pm Monday through Friday and 1-4:30pm on the weekends, through October.
