A deputy will be investigating the report of a juvenile female that was possibly sexually abuse by an adult male.

A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with trying to locate a runaway juvenile female from Jefferson that may be at a residence in Grand Junction. She was not found at that time.

A deputy was dispatched to the northeast part of the county to assist deputies from Webster County with trying to locate a vehicle that was involved in several burglaries and thefts in Farnhamville.

A deputy was dispatched for a car-deer accident on 237th Street near Kirkwood Avenue. The car sustained only minor damage to the front bumper.

A deputy spoke with a resident in the 500 block of South 12th Street in Grand Junction about a civil issue.

A deputy was dispatched to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 144 and 230th Street south of Grand Junction. Patty Ann Myers 62, of Grand Junction, was northbound on Highway 144 when she struck a tree branch that had fallen on the roadway. The Myers 2013 Dodge van had estimated damages of $500.

Tuesday, July 28th

A deputy assisted the Greene County Emergency Medical Services with a medical call in the 900 block of Stanton Street in Scranton.

A deputy was advised of a dog running at large around the Hartland Cooperative in Rippey.

A deputy investigated a careless driving concern in Rippey. The driver was spoken to about the concern.

A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with a male subject that was reported to be sleeping on the sidewalk in the 400 block of North Grimmell.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
