The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider for approval a resolution to amend the Urban Renewal Plan and a resolution for a development agreement with JCorporation, Incorporated following public hearings on the two issues.  The Council will also consider for approval the third reading to adopt a zoning classification for a Planned Unit Development at the Water Tower Subdivision, the preliminary and final plat for the property and replacing a four-inch water line on Walnut Street between Central Avenue and West Mahlon.

The Council is expected to approve the second of three required readings to change an ordinance to increase water and sewer rates by three percent along with approving a new police officer and a general service worker for the City.

The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
