The season has ended for all five of Guthrie County’s baseball teams and it’s time to take a look at the individual pitching leaders from the County’s five schools; Guthrie Center, Panorama, West Central Valley, Adair-Casey and Coon Rapids-Bayard. This list will include athletes who had at least 30 innings pitched this season. It was largely a two horse race in many pitching categories, with the aces from Coon Rapids-Bayard and West Central Valley dominating. Coon Rapids-Bayard junior Josh Esdohr had the most wins in Guthrie County with 10 and the most strikeouts, recording 108 k’s. West Central Valley senior Bryce Kearns had the lowest earned run average in Guthrie County, with a nearly unbelievable mark of .25. He also had the lowest opponent’s batting average at .112.
