The second annual Grand Junction Lions Club Car and Cycle Show and Poker Ride is coming up this Saturday.

The day starts with a poker ride at 10am.  Cars and motorcycles will leave from the City Park and will make stops at the Lucky Pig in Ogden, Riverside Bar in Lehigh, 209 Main in Paton and end at Ferg’s Restaurant in Grand Junction.  Registration begins at 9am and there is a $10 entry fee.  Cash prizes will be awarded for the best and worst poker hands.

The car and motorcycle show will begin at 2pm at the City Park.  Registrations for the show are at 1pm with a $20 fee, which includes one meal ticket.  The Greene County Cattlemen’s Association will help serve the meal.  Any vehicle is welcome to participate, with awards to be given in several categories.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the local Lions Club for projects and activities in the community.
