The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce will soon have new marketing materials and a more colorful identity.
The Chamber Board approved a new logo at their meeting Thursday. It was designed by Ten25 Designs out of West Des Moines, with help from the Chamber’s marketing and promotions committee.
Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson says it was a lengthy process, because the Board wanted to do it right and really help define what it is the Chamber does.
“We narrowed it down to a handful of things. I think we really believe in arts and culture, bicycle trails and bicycle tourism, obviously business is a huge one but another big thing is partnerships. Relationships and kind of building all of these collaborative partnerships that I think is one of our strengths. So it’s all represented in there with icons and I think it’s a fabulous logo. It’s funny to try and narrow it down with what the Chamber does with just one iconic figure but we’ve attempted and I think everybody will be pretty excited to see it.”
The logo will be used in the new Chamber guide brochures that will be printed next month.
