The Guthrie County Sheriff’s office has released the results of their recent special Traffic Enforcement Project (sTEP). Chief Deputy Jeremy Bennett says between July 1st-July 7th, deputies made one OWI arrest, served five arrest warrants and made one felony drug arrest. Three warnings were issued for no seatbelt, twenty five warnings for speeding, one warning for a dark window violation, five equipment warnings and five warnings for no proof of insurance. Ten citations were also issued. One for no proof of insurance and nine for speeding.
