No one was hurt after a vehicle carrying a jet ski accidentally went into the Raccoon River on Sunday in Greene County.

Sheriff Steve Haupert says at 1:15pm a deputy responded to a call about a vehicle carrying a jet ski that had entered the Raccoon River at the Adkins Bridge Access on 305th Street.

50 year-old Rodney Jay Wenger of Ogden was backing a trailer with a jet ski into the river when he forgot to park his 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe and everything went into the water.  Haupert says the items floated about 75 feet down the river and got caught on a log jam.  A towing company was able to drag the Tahoe, jet ski and trailer to shore.

Wenger was not in the Tahoe during the incident and no one suffered any injuries.  No damage was done to the jet ski or trailer, but $31,000 in damages were done to the Tahoe.

Wenger was cited for operation of a non-registered vehicle.
