The 6th ranked Coon Rapids-Bayard baseball team narrowly avoided being upset by Audubon Tuesday night. The game was tied through five, but a run scored in the bottom of the 6th would give the Crusaders the edge in the 3-2 contest. The win gives Coon Rapids-Bayard a record of 26-6 and allows them to advance in the postseason. They will face conference foe Glidden-Ralston in Coon Rapids tonight. Though Glidden-Ralston has a solid record of 18-10, they’ve already lost to Coon Rapids-Bayard by scores of 10-0 and 5-0 this season. First pitch for tonight’s contest scheduled for 7 p.m.
