Those who have harmful chemicals and tires to dispose of in the Perry area will have the opportunity to do so properly this weekend.
The City of Perry will collect household hazardous waste and tires Saturday from 9am until noon.
Items that will be accepted include aerosol cleaners and paints, antifreeze, rechargeable batteries, florescent light bulbs, used motor oil, pool chemicals and thermostats.
However, you cannot drop off ammunition, appliances, electronics, latex paints, propane tanks or radioactive materials.
The collection will take place in the public safety building parking lot at 908 Willis Avenue.
