A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with trying to locate a juvenile male that was last known to be with friends at Spring Lake Park. The youth was not located in the park.

A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department, while Jefferson Officers were on another call, with arresting Dustin Axle Brobst 24, Of Perry, for Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct (Loud or Raucous Noise) at the Kum and Go Store in Jefferson.

A deputy was involved in a foot pursuit after he initiated a traffic stop for speeding on U Avenue at 185th Street. The subject bolted from the vehicle and ran from the deputy. The Chief Deputy Sheriff and K-9 Leo were called to the location, but were not able to locate the driver who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and believed to a male subject. The car was taken to the impound lot in Jefferson and the owner was advised.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
