The Perry High School football coaches will be hosting a youth football camp for kids entering grades 4 through 6 this fall this Thursday and Friday July 16th and 17th. Thursday’s hours will be from 6 to 7:30 while Friday’s hours will be from 10:30 to noon at the Perry practice field. Current members of the Perry football team along with former Bluejays and college standouts will be helping with the camp. Iowa State starting middle linebacker Kane Seeley and Luther College defensive players Jackson Van Kirk and Gabe Saemish will return to Perry for the event. The camp is designed to be a fun introduction to the game of football and allows the younger kids to make a connection with the current Perry High School Bluejays. Basics and fundamentals will be taught with no tackling or position specific work. Cost is only 20 dollars and includes a camp t-shirt.
