The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider for approval an amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan and a development agreement with JCorporation, Incorporated following two public hearings on these issues.  The Council will also consider approving the third reading to adopt a Planned Unit Development zoning classification at the Water Tower Subdivision along with the preliminary and final plat for the property.

The Council is expected to approve the first readings to increase both sewer and water rates by three percent for the 2016 fiscal year and replace an existing four-inch water line on Walnut Street between Central Avenue and West Mahlon and name an interim sewer superintendent.

The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
