The Stuart City Council will meet Monday night. They will discuss nuisance properties, truck routes and the downtown facade project. A public hearing will be held on the proposal to enter into a loan agreement in a principal amount not to exceed $450,000. Additionally, the hotel and motel tax fund committee will present recommendations to the Council, appointments will be made to the library board and a contribution will be made to Guthrie County Emergency Management. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. inside of City Hall.

The Guthrie Center City Council will meet Monday night. They will approve liquor licenses for La Villa and Guthrie’s River Ruckus. Additionally, they will meet with Garold Thomas about a proposed parking lot, talk about the redemption center and discuss the compliance officer position. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. inside of the City Clerk’s office.
