Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a couple of youth programs next week.
Director Vicky Lautner says a mini cheerleading camp will take place from July 13th through the 16th from 1:30 to 2pm at the Greene County Community Center for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The instructor will be Stephanie Morlan, and the fee is $20.
Another youth program is designed to help kids “cool off” in July. Lautner says they will host a Snow Day on Wednesday, July 15th from 10 to 11:30am for anyone three to six years-old. There will be games and crafts with a winter theme. There is a $10 participation fee at the community center.
Finally, a week of evening swimming lessons will be held at the Jefferson Municipal Pool from July 13th through the 17th. All swimming levels will be offered with a $20 fee. The classes will be from 5:30 to 6:20pm.
