Iowa’s Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds met with a dozen local businesswomen Wednesday at Stuart’s Dale Valley Vineyard. The meeting was part of Reynolds’ Stories of Women’s Lives Tour, which she says allows her to share stories of Iowa’s women’s success in business, while providing inspiration to younger generations. “As I’ve had the opportunity to travel the state, I’ve really heard some incredible and inspiring stories of how women affect their communities. Whether it’s women in business, or ag, working for their school district or just in their community. These women can serve as wonderful role models for young women to encourage them to start a business, or go into politics or serve on a school board.”
The tour is part of Reynold’s annual initiative to visit each of Iowa’s 99 counties.
