Wednesday, June 24th

A deputy assisted with traffic control while a semi-tractor trailer was towed from 320th Street near V Avenue.

A deputy investigated criminal mischief at the Raccoon River Access south of the Adkins Bridge on 305th Street at S Avenue.

The Chief Deputy Sheriff investigated a harassment concern in the 700 block of East Division Street in Grand Junction.

A deputy while on routine patrol, found a small tool box in the middle of the road.

The Sheriff assisted a motorist with a vehicle experiencing mechanical problems on Neola Avenue, just south of 290th Street.

A deputy assisted the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and a Farnhamville Police Officer with a two vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 4 in Calhoun County.

A deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of Head Street in Churdan to help mediate a  verbal  domestic altercation.

Thursday, June 25th

A deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton for the report of a loud explosion. The deputy determined it may have been a loud clap of thunder during the rain storm.

A deputy was advised of a vehicle in the ditch on 190th Street between I and J Avenues. The vehicle had entered the ditch after losing control due to water over the roadway.

A deputy was dispatched to another vehicle that was in the ditch on 140th Street between F and G Avenues due to water on the roadway.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
