The West Central Valley pitching rotation is anchored by arguably one of the best pitchers in the West Central Conference, senior Bryce Kearns. Who will be pitching for Iowa Central Community College next year. Two of the other members of the Wildcats’ rotation are young. So young, that they aren’t even freshman yet. 8th graders Cole Arnburg and Carson Wadle have the opportunity to learn from one of the best, in Kearns. The pair of 8th graders have shown their age on the mound this season, occasionally getting blasted by the upperclassmen on opposing teams, but it hasn’t been all bad for them. They have shown good control from the mound, and Arnburg, in particular, has shown good promise in being able to strike out batters several years older than him.
