They have 71 hits through their first 11 games, but only 12 are extra base hits. Additionally, the team attempts to steal a base 25% of the time they have a runner on base. That’s the second highest percentage in the West Central Conference. The Wildcats play again on Tuesday night, when they head to defending champion Earlham, who have just a 3-12 record to start the season.
