A deputy was advised of an injured turkey vulture near the Raccoon River Bridge, South of Jefferson on Highway 4.

A deputy was dispatched to the 1100 block of L Avenue for the report of two small children playing in the roadway. The mother was spoken to about allowing the children to get close to the road.

A deputy responded to the 1100 block of Livingston Street in Churdan to speak with the homeowner about his burning within the city limits.

A deputy was advised of the theft of a log splitter from a business in the 100 block of Main Street in Grand Junction.

A deputy was dispatched to Grand Junction to speak with a resident about a family civil issue.

A deputy was dispatched to 150th Street and I Avenue to investigate the report of a male subject sitting in his pickup. The individual was spoken to by the deputy concerning his actions.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
