Next season, West Central Valley pitcher Bryce Kearns will be playing for Iowa Central Community College. Last year, he was possibly the most dominant pitcher in the West Central Conference, posting a .69 ERA and striking out 102 batters in 50 innings. This year, Kearns is already off to a hot start. In his first start he struck out 17 Panorama Panthers in 7 2/3rds innings, allowing just one hit. Panorama Head Coach Brian Bahrenfuss confirms says that Kearns is one of the best his guys see on a regular basis. “Bryce Kearns. He’s one of the top guys in the conference.”
The Wildcats will host a winless Audubon team this evening. First pitch scheduled for 5:30 at West Central Valley High School.
