U.S. News and World Report has awarded Perry High School with a Bronze Medal in their national ranking list.
Perry is one of 101 in Iowa to make the list, out of the almost 400 high schools.
Principal Dan Marburger says he is proud of the efforts of school staff every year, even when they don’t make the list. He credits the accomplishment to the staff’s persistence and hard work.
According to the U.S. News and World Report’s academic indicators, Perry High School has a mathematics proficiency of 2.8, a reading proficiency of 2.9 out of a five point scale. The student to teacher ratio is 15:1.
