The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors are currently paying $455 per month to insure the empty Country View Estates facility. Even with an offer to lease the property on the table, the Supervisors are adamant that they would prefer to sell it as soon as possible. The Board told xIst, LLC owner Joe Claibourn Tuesday that they would have a more concrete answer in a couple of weeks as to whether they will proceed in setting up a lease agreement with his company or move forward in trying to find a buyer. Representatives from xIst told the Supervisors in early May that down the road they may be interested in purchasing the property, but weren’t currently prepared to purchase it.
