The Panorama Boys golf team made history on Saturday when they became the first team in school history to win a state championship. Sophomore golfer Will Babcock is the first individual state champ at the school in over a decade. Head coach Hal Rossow says once it became evident that the team was going to win Saturday afternoon, the excitement level began to rise. “We started to kind of feel it and got pretty happy and ecstatic. They were very proud. I’m extremely proud of those boys. They deserve it, they are hard workers. We started the season ranked number one and finished number one, you can’t ask for any more than that.”

Rossow says he plans to invite the community to further celebrate the team’s win at a banquet he expects to schedule in mid June.
