The Greene County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach office is hosting a class tomorrow about how to handle food safely.

Extension Coordinator Lori Mannel says the SafeFood course provides training for food safety for food service workers.  She points out that this class would be a good opportunity for anyone who may have a food booth at Bell Tower Festival or the Greene County Fair, the Greene County Farmer’s Market or at church activities where food is being served.

It will be from 5:30 to 6:30pm tomorrow at the Extension office in Jefferson.  The cost to participate is $10.  To sign up, call 386-2138.
