The ADM boys golf team finished in 6th place Saturday at the 2015 Class 3A State Golf Tournament in Livermore with a 36-hole score of 655.
Webster City won the title at 626, followed by Mount Vernon (637), Centerville (644), Humboldt (648), Decorah (649), ADM (655), Williamsburg (662) and Central Clinton, DeWitt (664).
The Tigers performed significantly better on Day 1 Friday, shooting a 314 compared to 341 on Saturday, though that sort of thing wasn’t unique to ADM. Every single team shot a higher round on Day 2 than on Day 1, the smallest increase between days being 13 by Mount Vernon.
ADM’s scorers included Brody Boston (10th – 155), Joe Vest (T-16th – 160), Ben Sandquist (27th – 168) and Jacob Schumaker (T-33rd – 172). Ethan Herron finished with a 180 and Micah Moyer a 186.
