A chilly and wet day hurt attendance at Saturday’s fourth annual Perry Dog Park celebration.
The Raccoon Valley Radio “Big Red Radio” was there broadcasting live from 11am to 1pm as attendees were able to get their pets microchipped, take photos, make dog toys, take part in raffles, enjoy hot dogs from the Boy Scouts and see some of the pets the Society has up for adoption.
Humane Society volunteer Susie Moorhead presented a dedication of the new shelter house at the park which was recently set up to keep dog owners comfortable on days like Saturday when the weather isn’t favorable.
