The Perry Jayette softball team will celebrate their home opener tonight when they take on Norwalk in a 7:30 varsity match up at the PAC.  Perry will look to improve their defense after a six error night in the season opener against Winterset.  Sophomore Emma Olejniczak rebounded after a shaky start allowing three consecutive hits to open up the game.  She settled in against one of the better teams in the state surrendering only 2 earned runs in six innings of work.

Perry will look to jumpstart their offense against a Norwalk team that was shut out by Indianola Wednesday night 2-0.  Perry scattered three hits in their 9-0 loss to Winterset Wednesday.
