
The State Track and Field Meet wrapped up on Saturday and several of our area coverage schools performed well at Drake Stadium.
Adel-DeSoto-Minburn newly graduated senior Kari Dufoe was crowned Class 3A state champion in two individual events on Saturday. She earned first place in both the 100- and 200-meter dash. She was also a part of the 4×100-meter relay and the distance medley relay teams that took second place.
Other state runner-ups from our area include Greene County freshman Megan Durbin in the high jump and Emmitt Wheatly for Adair-Casey was second place in the 100- and 200-meter dash and in the long jump.
