Spring sports ended on Saturday at the High School State Coed Track & Field Meet for the Greene County Rams and the summer sports seasons are scheduled to begin tomorrow. Coach Mark Sawhill’s Rams are scheduled to open at home with PCM (Monroe) in Jefferson at Allensworth Field on KG98. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. with first pitch set for 7:15 p.m.

Greene County hosts PCM on Tuesday in softball as well. The Mustangs won the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference title last summer and the Rams were second. Greene County went on to finish third in the Class 3A  State Tournament while PCM finished one victory short of State.
