Grand JunctionEveryone is invited this weekend to a special fundraiser at the Grand Junction Public Library.

The library is coming up on its centennial celebration next year and so board members are hosting a special program and fundraiser this Sunday, May 24th at 3pm.

“The Art, Crafts and Collectibles of Virginia ‘Gigi’ Robinson” program will feature the life of Virginia Robinson, from the time she came to Grand Junction from New York City in 1945 to her death in 2003.  Her children, Lillian and Alan Robinson will be the presenters.

Items including many of Virginia’s collectables, art and crafts will be on display and available for purchase for a free-will donation.  Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used for the library’s centennial celebration next year.

Refreshments will be served at the event.
