Greene County residents ages 2 through 21 are eligible to sign up for the Bill Riley Talent Search during Bell Tower Festival in June.

Coordinator Nicole Friess-Schilling says the local competition will be at 5pm on the plaza stage, south of the courthouse in Jefferson, on Saturday, June 13th.  There will be two divisions.  The Sprout division is for youth ages 2 through 12 and a Senior division for anyone ages 13 through 21.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division and the winners will advance to the Iowa State Fair.

Friess-Schilling notes that entries for Greene County residents will be accepted until May 17th, and then the remaining spots will be opened to everyone, including those from outside of the County.  Entry forms are available at the children’s department at the Jefferson Public Library, the Greene County Chamber office or by emailing Friess-Schilling at prairiebluecreativearts@gmail.com.
